John Bradford is Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Social Sciences at Mississippi Valley State University. His areas of expertise include sociological theory,quantitative methods, and political economy. His current research focuses on developing and testing generative, computational models of social stratification and inequality, and he plays a leading role in collecting and evaluating his university’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). he regularly teaches classical and contemporary sociological theory, statistics, research methods, stratification, environmental sociology, comparative poverty and development, introduction to sociology, social psychology, and social problems. He has created a number of online simulations and interactive data visualizations for his students. Amiong his main publications to date is an exchange with John Martin Levy relating to the book the latter published in 2011, The Explanation of Social Action.  Further further information, see http://johnbradford.github.io/.
